Year End Assemblies

While planning these events, we have been trying to find a balance between following Alberta Health
guidelines and keeping some degree of normalcy.

As a staff we wish you could all be here, to witness your child(ren) receive the recognition they
deserve, and to share in their achievements.

However, given the current situation, Grades five, six, and seven students will have the opportunity to
view a video message with their teachers and classmates along with a presentation of any awards to
deserving recipients.

8:30am - 9:15am - Grade 5s (any farewell activities ie. slideshow, certificates etc.)
9:15 am -10:00am - Grade 6s (any farewell activities ie. slideshow, certificates etc.)
10:00 am -10:45am - Grade 7s (any farewell activities ie. slideshow, certificates etc.)
11:00 am -12:00pm - Grade 8s (any farewell activities ie. slideshow, certificates etc.)
12:00pm - 12:30pm - Grade 8s Drive-By Farewell Parade (timeline may adjust slightly)

At 11:00am, a link will be placed in the Grade 8 Health Google classroom. That link will take the
families to a Google meet where the year end slideshow and ceremony will be taking place. It should
be around 30 minutes in length.

At 12:00 pm that day, eighth-grade students will be asked to participate in a vehicle parade. Students
are encouraged to decorate their cars and dress up as desired. Our staff and student body will be out
on school property to congratulate you in style!
