R.I. Baker students are being encouraged to participate in the annual Literary/Poster Contest that is hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion. The Legion appreciates our entries of either a poem, a short story, black & white or color poster. Cash prizes and medals are awarded to first, second and third prizes in several different grade group categories. In the past years R.I. Baker has been pleased to have at least 2 or 3 winning entries each year. The deadline for entries is November 15th. Entry forms may be picked up from the library and must be attached to the student’s work. Completed entries may be brought to the school library so that all entries can be delivered to the Legion at one time.
