The library will be closed to all students as of June 14th and all loaned materials are expected to be returned by this date.
Students have been reminded on a regular basis of the items that they need to return and it is their responsibility to return these items in the condition that they received them in. Any items, including textbooks, that are lost or severely damaged must be paid for. Paperback books require a replacement
fee of $10.00 per item and hardback books require a $20.00 replacement fee. Textbooks are substantially more costly to replace and the average cost of replacement varies between $115.00 and $130.00. Emails will be sent home as a reminder for assistance in locating and returning the items to the school. We thank you in advance for your assistance in getting all items returned.
We realize it has been an unusual school year and at times students have had difficulty accessing library items but we have tried our best to supply our readers with a great selection of new and popular items as well as reminding them of older books that are still great reads. We appreciate your support in encouraging your child the importance and benefits of reading as well as the enjoyment it provides.
