Information Update: March 16th

Parents and Students,
After taking the day to sort out childcare for our own families, R.I. Baker staff members will be at the school starting tomorrow morning. We will begin to wrap our minds around the many tasks that we need to sort out for the upcoming weeks and possibly months. 
First and foremost, we will ensure a safe workplace for staff members to work in. We are not immune to the anxiety that is caused by so much uncertainty, and like you, we have many unanswered questions. Together, with our district leaders, we are beginning to make sense of the first necessary steps. 
Tomorrow we will collaborate and brainstorm best methods for presenting students with high quality remote programming. We were not prepared for this, but this team of highly competent and compassionate people will rise to the challenge. 
Please know there is not one staff member who doesn’t recognize the stress this unprecedented decision has caused on our students and their families. Whether it be picking up resources and personal belongings, or presenting class material and assignments online, we will have the best interest of our Baker families in mind. Please watch and listen for updates and further communication. We will provide you with information as we have it, and will work to do so in a timely manner.
